River's Angel
I walk up the driveway of the Octocabin and am greeted by a beautiful young lady with a huge smile she introduces herself as River Rok and invites me inside. We sit down in a modest partially furnished living area she explains that this is her current flip number 3 and it was all made possible by her Guardian angel Rocky.
River shows me a battered newspaper article and starts to tell me her story.
I have had a troubled start in life, As a newborn I had been abandoned outside of a fast food restaurant. My mother/parents had never been found and I had been moved around quite a lot from one foster home to another I cant blame the foster carers though I had been an angry, disruptive and hard to handle child. I just felt unloved and unwanted.

one of my many social workers had been given me the newspaper cutting and I started to understand why I had no memory of my parents and no family to come take me on days out like the other kids in care. I ran away a lot but always treasured this battered piece of paper and always dreamt of finding rocky. He was the Manager of the restaurant he found me and cared for me until the authorites arrived, He also named me.
By the time I was a teenager I was homeless I spent sometime on the streets but I managed to befriend some college students I became a sofa surfer it was much safer than being on the streets or so I thought until one of my friends sleezy boyfriends made a pass at me. I ended up back where I started on the streets outside of a fast food restaurant . ironically the same one that I had been abandoned at when I was a baby. I didn't know until the Manager came out to offer me a cup of coffee he introduced himself as Rocky Jones the guy who had rescued me as a baby rescued me again . My guardian angel we talked for hours and he gave me some money to change my life.

So I bought myself a little house and started That Flipping House Challenge. eventually i'll earn enough to buy my dream house and set up a homeless shelter to help Homeless teens and young adults stay safe.
My Guardian angel saved my life twice now it's my chance to give back and continue.

Leanne Writes: My husband Paul keeps flirting with the neighbours in front of me, he's been doing it for months. My usual reaction of smiling and laughing as if its not happening isn't doing anything to stop his hurtful behaviour. What am I doing wrong?
Ant Advises: I'm sure it's all innocentc. It's just a bit of fun on Pauls part don't let it get to you, take it as is meant harmless friendly fun.
Mya Advises: Oh girl you are doing everything wrong! SPEAK UP!! you need to slap some sense into that man, let him know this behaviour is NOT ACCEPTABLE. And if that doesn't work put on your dancing shoes and hit the clubs give him a taste of his own and see how soon that flirting stops.
